|NZ| server updates
#1
Hi

There have been a series of new changes for the |NZ| servers. Check the website for further details...

* All servers are now running v1.1+
* |NZ|Pohutukawa randomises the order of the maps in it's maprot.cfg daily.
* /whois now shows all octets of a players IP address.
* The blacklist has been effectively "clean slated". Anybody with a previous blacklist, has a second chance (but only one). For those who may be concerned about this, the previous blacklist will remain on the site in it's original place.
* MOAR RAM! (baaaah!)
* All servers now have the ability to "shout out". It's a completely useless feature, but some people find it fun, take a look here: http://www.randumkiwi.co.nz/shout.html
* New server "Tuatara" available for matches.
* New custom map server "Weta" allows custom maps to be played. The map needs to be first uploaded by a server admin, see here for details: http://www.randumkiwi.co.nz/weta/

He means that when you /whois someone, all octets of their IP address will be shown, e.g. 1.2.3.4, as a pose to only showing two octets as it was before, e.g. 1.2.x.x.

I think it is. Anyone causing trouble, you'll be able to get their full IP address. I don't really see any down side myself. Full IP addresses are shown/given all around the internet. Whenever you go to a website, you give them your IP, whenever you download something via torrents, you give your IP, whenever you connect to IRC, everyone sees your IP.

I know that. I think the problem is more the guy who complains about everything : he will complain about it and (?) be legally right ?
