/getmap???

hello i have had this problem that when i enter a server that has a custom map it says /cant read map or something like that
how do i do it 2 get the map i type /getmap but it doesnt help

You need to locally have the map, meaning it should be on your computer. You should download the community map pack here and then try connecting to custom map servers.
