mapmodels: ladders
#1
hello i worked ther's several years in a ladder but i diden't think, at this moment, that i had to export it in md3 format.

so, now it's done.

This set consist of 5 models:

a 8 height ladder
a 4 height ladder
a top ladder to go in a wall
a base ladder to go in a wall
a top ladder to go on a floor

The are in Mr.Floppy's folder, it's actually a sort of kit that you can assemble as you fancy...

really funny:

to cleaner:

i made the ladders you post. but they were not correct cause export in md2 format and the textures were not really well positioning...

i diden't think that those models were still somewhere ...

but maybe mr floppy did the work...

i don't remember exactly what happens at this moment :)

Files within this folder and all subfolders are by:
Carlo "Mr.Floppy" Fischer ([email protected])

Additional to this, files in the "hanging_ladder" folder:
* Thanks to Boeufmironton who provided the original concept.
* Thanks to makkE for the textures, and additional model changes

oh, ok

:)

so we have it in double now :)

Actually, Boeufmironton came up with those models quite some time ago and I realized some positioning/accuracy issues and therefore offered to help.

In fact this was due to the weird ongoings with the .md2 format, we've been just talking about on the other thread. Back then I went almost crazy on rebuilding the thing over and over again, never getting the ends to meet up until makke told me and I finally switched to .md3 alltogether. He then took his hands on the wrapping and skinning and there you go.

I hope you don't mind it's placed in the floppy-folder, Boeufmironton.

there is no problems, all the models i create are free to use, re use, change and else :)

thank's for your reply, i had the feeling of being a thief :)

but why do i not have it in my ac folders ?

You are lucky, we can't blacklist someone just because he's stupid.

Thanks Luc@s, I missed post #7, sorry ExodusS for making a joke at your expense and sorry for taking this off topic. Feel free to delete my post(s)

@ Boeufmironton, btw you can delete all the .qc files, they aren't needed in the packages.
They are just small compiling script files that once you're done with your model becomes totally useless.
