Hi, I have a problem with coopedit command.
I saw a forum on how to use this command and it says:
type:
/sendmap [mapname]
/coop [mapname].
I got to try it and I typed: /sendmap ac_desert
it says that i must be an admin.
What should I do?!

a) You can't coop edit official maps.
b) You should use a coop server so you don't need to have admin to send a map :P

Do not edit existing maps (official or otherwise), start by typing /newmap 7 ( offline in coop edit mode) and create something that is uniquely yours from your own creativity. The official maps that come with AC are NOT to be edited, attempting to do so can get you banned. Just take some time and make something from scratch, it is rather easy to make something from nothing in edit mode. Be prepared for lots of criticism and no thanks on all you maps (its just the way things are)
Here are some helpful links that you should read carefully:

http://assault.cubers.net/docs/mapediting4.html
http://assault.cubers.net/docs/mapediting5.html
http://assault.cubers.net/docs/mapediting6.html
Short version, start offline:
/newmap 7
/savemap MyFirstMap
/coop MyFirstMap
(do some stuff to make a map or at least the start of a map)
/savemap MyFirstMap
goto a server that allows sending maps without admin (some allow this, some don't)
/sendmap MyFirstMap
If the server allows coop mode you could vote /coop MyFirstMap and have others "help " you but chances are someone will make a mess of things unless you use /mastermode 2 to allow only those currently on the server to help you.

by the way, if you're alone, you'd better edit your map offline. More editor features are available offline than in coop-edit.

Not only do you have more features offline, you don't have to worry about others messing up your progress. Also, here's a tip.
Before you go to save your map everytime, type /setmaprevision 0. This will keep your map at one revision, and makes it easier when you want to send it to others (outside of AssaultCube).
Other than that, enjoy mapping!
