FPS problem

My mac runs a stable 125 fps ever since i start playing
Today when i play it still runs 125 fps, in the afternoon
when i got on all of a sudden i have 24-25 fps...
Whats going on?!?!

Also, check the equivalent of scheduled tasks for Mac because another process may have been running in the background at the time.
