Trying to run a server

T used to be able to run a server on my computer connected to the router, but I have wireless connection on this computer, and it wont work. I get the message failed pinging server. I'm doing the exact same things I did before and it worked before. but now with my wireless connection it won't work. Is there a way to get it to work?

Re-forward the ports, double check that your internal IP is correct.

Don't run a server on a wireless connection, those are way too unstable.
