Hi guys!
I got this problem since i play this game , not any sound in game. I checked the options , unmute all , put all to the max but nothing happens. I think it's an OpenAL problem but i can't resolve it. Someone online told me about a patch on the forum but i can't find it anywhere.

First of all, what version of AC? Where did you get it from? Tried /resetcfg 1 and restart? (Resets the whole config)

Do you have sounds in youtube for example ? Or is your problem just in AC ?
And do you use a headset ?

I have the 1.1.0.4 , i get it on Synaptic . I have sound everywhere , on ubuntu and youtube.

Synaptic? O.o It should be Sourceforge AFAIK. I wouldn't be downloading some other version than the one redirected to from the homepage.

No matter , it's the same version... i just don't need to compile it!
It's ok , i uninstalled the synaptec version and downloaded the sourceforge and now the sound work good!
