Ubuntu 12.04: Knife/gun switching while moving mouse bug

The bug is basically you can't switch from knife to gun (mouse wheel) while moving the mouse around (turning) simultaneously.

Somebody once told me that this was an easy bug to fix and that it was here in the forums. But searching the forum is turning up nothing for me. I've got to get my OS updated, and of course I can't be without my Assualt cube...

Anybody know what to do?

Ok, I found it...

For anybody else with this problem...

This is a problem specific to Linux, and it's not only highly annoying, but it will also keep you from playing well. It's even worse than the pistol firing problem. Luckily, there's a known solution.

Open assaultcube.sh, and after #!/bin/sh, add the following lines:

export SDL_VIDEO_X11_MOUSEACCEL="1/1/1"
export SDL_VIDEO_X11_DGAMOUSE=0

I don't go beyond the LTS updates. Too many issues in between.

Yah, I'm just an LTS type of guy anyway... I just jumped from 10.04 to 12.04 (Xubuntu variety).
