Welcome grenadier
#1
This thread is long overdue. Not just because gren's actually been able to commit code to the project (and, therefore, an 'official dev') for a few weeks, but because as 'aurhat' he has been invaluable in contributing suggestions and bugfixes to AssaultCube for years. He has been a consistent and worthy tester, and someone who really understands the AC ethos.
Thank you for everything, grenadier, past and future.

Welcome grenadier!

May I ask what kind of code he's contributing. Or to be more direct, is there someone actually working on the rendering pipeline?

Thanks,
small exposé: my contribution to AC since v. 0.92 to v. 1.2 (without v. 1.1) was/is mainly testing (especially "beta" versions, which always too few people tested), bug reporting and pointing out bad things, creating cubescripts, small changes in source code (fixes and new features), some changes in documentation, other things ( for example cheater reporting or server maintenance). And sorry, I am not good C coder, so you can't expect any miracles from me. ;)

Ctrl+f and search for "map restrictions", then delete everything.
Boom, a miracle. :P

AC isn't even coded in C. It's coded in C++

Nice, it seems you (grenadier) won't belly up on AC just like VonDrakula.

Offtopic:

Speaking of which, Why did VonDrakula left or who/why kicked him out off the dev team?

Yeah, it says C++, but if you actually read the code it reads like C for the most part.
