Hey guys, I got a desktop today.
The last time I had my new macbook was a month ago and I needed help with it.
Basically today, I cannot access any gema/or servers such as sniper@camper.
The problem must be with something like 'version' but I looked at the answers and they do not work unfortunately.

Basically when I click on a server it doesn't load. Also when I click w to move it barely lets me move. It's something to do with "/version"

Barely lets you move?
Do you mean literally W, or any directional key?
What's your frames per second?
Are your drivers up to date (and are they the right ones)?
What version do you have?
Do other servers work?

Sounds like sarcastic answer to me.
He clearly says what the problem is, but the answer is like telling him to fak playing gemas.
Anyway, some servers do not have gema maps in maprotation. And some (maybe the same once) do not allow uploading and voting gema maps without you having admin.
Just like my server. There is no gema maps on server on that only admin can upload any gema map and vote it.
There is also the possibility that you are banned from the server.

When someone clearly tells the problem and the answer is sarcastic then it is sarcastic.
This is not meant as a negative post about x-ray (and i do think and hope he knows it), but if i say i want pus*sy and dont need it now, then its not sarcastic.
Anyway, im not here to post much.

A: I can load offical maps like ac_desert.
Can you download any maps from the server?
Don't think I can since no files are stored in my computer that are maps
Does you have VSync off?

What is your max fps on the client you're using?

It's likely that the client doesn't have PERMISSION to write in your files.
I suggest that you reinstall the file but instead of orginial choice you made.. use the other option
Then try it out.

or just change the permissions in the map folder if you have an administrator account on your computer.
