So in a couple of days im getting a windows eight laptop, specs are pretty good
OS: Windows 8 64 bit
Memory: 4 GB ram, expanding to 8 GB
Graphics card: Radeon HD 7760 1 GB VRAM (?)
Storage: 500 GB HDD 7200 RPM
Processor: i7 (?) Quad core 3.1 ghz
So im pretty sure that i can play ac, unless its windows 8. Can i play on windows 8, or is it not compatible?

Even thought windows 8 is extremely terribly terrible, it does work with AC.

Steam works. I'm pretty sure most things work, it's still Windows.

Minecraft works, steam works (<3 CS:GO & Awesomenauts), everything works pretty much. Windows 8 has the different service packs, it's pretty much backwords compatible with everything you would want.
I personally don't really like Windows 8, I don't even use the start bar that is there. I run everything off the desktop, including skype.

Any major program should work at this point.
