Hey everyone. I recently took a couple demos so i could view my errors and look at technique but i always encounter one giant problem: how do I spectate myself? whenever I press spacebar, it always gives me a random player to watch.
Is there anyway to actually select who you want to view?

I thought it was like ghosting after death - scroll wheel?
I'm not on a computer so my muscle memory can't help. There is a way though.

usually when you watch demos you can use previous/next weapon (whatever you have that bound to) to switch players. After that it should track the player you select even when that player dies (contrary to how spectate works in a live game). It may be a bug that happens sometimes. If it does it consistently I really don't know what to tell you other than try and reload the demo.

You need a script in this version, not sure about 1.1.1.

Would it be possible in svn to pick a random VIEW to spect someone in? I have plans for a new start up menu.

/bind KP1 [gamespeed 20]
/bind KP2 [gamespeed 100]
/bind KP3 [gamespeed 1000]
/bind KP0 [if $paused [paused 0; echo Unpaused] [paused 1; echo Paused]]

For (pseudo-)randomness, there's rnd.
