After moving and switching to Verizon DSL using Westell G90 modem, I am unable to properly forward ports. Computer is connected directly to DSL modem where the forwarding rules are defined. No other network equipment. After applying these rules (which apply to the LAN IP address of the computer running the server) I am unable to connect to my internet IP address in AC. I'm running latest version, just downloaded today.

Any idea?

Asscu, ehehehe. Anyhow, did the server work before? If you have firewall software make an exception for ac_server.

Yeah, it worked when I was forwarding through the ATT Uverse modem/router but I'm on entirely different ISP and equipment now and I'm not used to port forwarding on this stuff. What little I can find in my Googling seems to suggest that I'm doing it right. There's no firewall software on the computer.

What is "host service"?

You shouldn't be trying to connect to your external address; you should connect to your LAN address. Only people outside your LAN, on the internet, should use your external IP. Is this working?

Yeah, it was just that 1.1 doesn't allow you to connect via the external address. I was used to seeing both internal and external entries on the server list and being able to connect through either. Thanks.
