There are demos of players clearly shooting through stationary opponents. I haven't looked at the code but it's possibly explained by driver bugs if it uses OpenGL picking for hit detection.

Could someone kindly give me a step-by-step tutorial for a Windows user? S:
I went to the site and downloaded the last file called "AssaultCube_v1.1.0.4_source.tar.bz2". I downloaded a program called WinZip to open it (I just used whatever "Windows recommends"). After using WinZip, I can see the files but can't really move them or copy them. Heck, I don't even know where I move them too! I hope I'm not being noob, lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would also like a (server-side) fixed Hit-reg server.
