If i try to update the driver for my graphic card (HD 5870), i get a bluescreen, idk why.
I have downloaded the correct driver from the amd support site, atm i have a driver from 2009 running, but the newest is from 2011. Also my catalyst control center isnt the newest.
I have tried many times, read so many forums and havent found any solution.
I got the newest catalyst control center running, also the driver under system settings, but i got following error on my display:
No ATI-driver installed or isnt working correctly. My highest resolution was then 1600 x 1200 instead of 1920 x 1200. As well there was an error with OpenGl, i couldnt start ac or sauerbraten anymore (win32 exception....).
Well, after some hours i set back my system to an earlier date, and my old driver was running again and ac and sauerbraten too.
But i probably need the new driver to run my Battlefield 3.
