Black Screen

I recently did a fresh install of XP SP3. Installed latest GFX driver and now when I run AC all I get is a black screen…I can hear my gun fire…

I had the same problem except I got a white screen. I restarted and miraculously started working again.
I still occasionally get the same problem but I restart until it works.

such reports should always include the exact "Renderer:" and "Driver:" lines - it's so much more helpful if we know the specifics instead of stabbing in the dark (or white (haha)).
