Comparing AssaultCube mapmaking to economics is fundamentally flawed, as Kaen noted (and not just because "invisible hand" doctrine is as much a hand-waving sweep of misunderstood dynamics under the rug of science as "entropy" is) (and not just because economics is an intuition-based science) (and not just because I personally don't like economics).
Closing as requested by the OP, but please let's continue discussion on the feasibility of applying the alternate suggestions mentioned in the thread I linked above.
