I need a script, which changes mods in-game :)
#1
Hey Guys,
just as the title says, I need a script, which can change different mods in-game.

The thing is: I created a AK-47, with different accessories, like a
scope, or a silencer. And now, I'd be great to have a script, which
could change between those different accesoiries.

So clearly I need a script: Which can change the folder of a mod (for example from packages/models/weapons/assault to: packages/models/weaons/assaultwithscope), read the data in this folder, and shows it as hudgun then. All with a key-binded menu would be totally great :D

I don't know if its even possible, but I heard of a script, like this.
If somebody could spend a bit little time (or much time, I don't know how complex such a thing is) for such a script...that would be really really really great :D

Yep something like this.
But sadly, I didn't figured out how I can run this script.
Did you tested it succesfully?

Nope. I don't have linux. IIRC, it uses a sudo, which my nonprogramming brain remembersw it's Unix-ish.

Oh ok.
I hope that this can be solved with Cubescript, for all systems :/

If you want to do this efficiently and in a non-embarrassing and non-kludgy manner, try asking the devs to add this feature into the game.
But if you don't mind being laughed at by the people around you... there's this.

Ask for dev support. In my opinion, using that kludgy method is too much. Its not worth it. It would just ruin your AK <3

@V-Man @RR: Well, then I'm going to do this. But I don't think it will be built in before 1.2.0.2 ;)

Well a batch file is, as you said, no the best solve for this problem...

Thanks for your answers :)
