Hey again,
I tried a new texturing methode, please tell me what you think about it :)
The skin is 1024^2, what's 4 times as much texture than before, enjoy it.
Sorry for the poor packaging, but its just a skin.
PS. maybe you devs should reunwrap the shotgun, since there is a lot of unused space
PPs.
here is a render I made for teh lulz

Sorry, to say tgis, but it doesn't look as good as the original skin.
There are so less details, than in the original :/
You really have to make nore details, and than it would look much better :)

It does look a little plastic-ie. Some scraches and 'battle scars' could help that, not sure though.
And what happened to the 'HD player skins'? are they being released?

* Lantry looks at rendering
The shotgun has a clip? :O
That would explain the funny reloading.

Slow old man:
There is unused texture space, because the weapon was built complete and textured, because at the time I had no idea yet of how much would be seen or how complicated the animations would become. So to make sure it would be most versatile in the future, it was done this way. Also made making world skins much easier, because I could just "photograph" the models from all angles and derive the world skin from that.
Areas that would be potentially seen the most have been given more texture space compared to those that would be seen the least.
Feel free to reunwrap what's actually in use at the moment, if you want to use the space more efficiently.
