Computor to Television

So I just got a brand knew T.V. It is possible for me to hook it up with my computer but I would have to buy a cord. If I were to buy this cord and set it up to my T.V. would my fps or anything change?

Depends on your graphics card. If you have a good enough graphics card, I doubt you would notice a difference.

Post your graphic card specs, and people may be able to tell you if it is a good enough card.

If your computer has an hdmi output and your tv is an hd tv that has hdmi imputs then you would need an hdmi cable.. If your computer only has vga or dvi outputs then you would either need a computer monitor or an hd tv type computer monitor(which are more computer monitor sized)..

as for your fps, it wouldn't change, because the display(tv, monitor, etc) doesn't effect that part of the game.
fps is effected by the graphics card not display.
