ok so i tried going to an empty map and adding a bot like this (/addbot) but it says the mode does not support it,
so i did some reserching and to change the mode (/mode) it says to type in the #, well i dont know all of the #'s for the gameplay mode
can someone help!

Don't you also have to "flood waypoints" or something like that first?

That happens automatically when you add the first bot, AFAIK.

i got it, go to an empty map, then type /mode 12; and echo it
then type /addbot

This happens when you load a map in a bot mode IIRC. :)

Not true. You do not have to add bots when you vote in a bot mode.

All my maps are added in my menu.cfg with all official maps. :p
