Servers are not loading

When I select Multiplayer then Join a server, no servers show up. At first, one server showed up, but is was full(ac douze, 2/2 ppl). I uninstalled and reinstalled assault cube and restarted my computer, but no servers are being shown. It was all fine yesterday, but this morning it suddenly doesn't work right.

Check your console, does it say anything like "masterserver not responding" after you try to see the server list?

Also try pressing f5 when viewing the serverlist.

Pressing F5 does not help. It says "Masterserver is not replying. Get more information at http://masterserver.cubers.net/". When I go there, it says

that message you posted is for pre-v1.0.x releases - the old-style masterserver is offline.
the reason you're not getting any servers is because you've been banned from the game.
Because of speed-hacking - see the blacklist-thread post too.

Ok I'll admit I did use cheat engine to speed hack yesterday.
I just checked the box "Enable speedhack" and increased my speed.
Is there any way to get unbanned?

I downloaded the dmo file, but I cannot open it. What is a dmo or a demo? Is it a video? If so, I want to watch it.

thanks samsattF lol in sputnik's video I saw myself zooming across his screen haha good times good times. And I only got to speedhack for half a day! Sputnik had to ruin the fun.

Many wondered why this wasn't closed yet, and now I do too.

Also, if you decide to make more threads about this topic, I will have no qualms about banning a cheater off of these forums.
