Ban Evading issue
#1
This user is claiming to be admin in my server, one of my admins ALMOST give admin power to him. I am lucky to stop it , this occurs about 4 weeks ago. And He just striked again.

187.10.216.250
187.34.216.243
187.11.73.78
201.42.40.213
201.13.101.151

This is frustrating for me and I want him out of my server.

Lol Ima go troll that guy. Either he is using different IP's, or is that one F**KING AWESOME ROUTER. But I'm stoopid.

P.S. I thought BearJew never had all lowercase.

Well, make sure to instruct your admins not to give admin power. Threaten them with removal of their passwords.

Yeah. Just to clarify, how many players/IPs have been given the password?
It's to reduce possible spread and accidents.

I'd rangeban. If people really want to go on your server, have them contact you. Or have a crappier server, that lags hard and shit, and people who want to go on your server are reached there? :D

I'd get a ms mod to check this thread. Some serious tabs should be here to block the IP's.

Cemer: AFAIK, Bugboy uses individual passwords for different players to minimise the damage caused by a password getting out.
He could tell you this himself of course :D

All smart server owners do this :)

I've only allowed a couple shared passwords in my whole (~1 month, now over) of owning servering.

I myself have never given out a shared password...
It's always been something like
123456//Gibarix
fdajfkhsd//Viper

Note: These are not real passwords :P
