Greetings

We would like to put this awesome game on our new free game website, so would very much like to hear if this is possible...
we wont take any credit for it and we dont want to break any copyright laws, its merely an attempt to collect free online games and categorize them to make it easy for people to find the game they desire to play (free of charge)

Please contact me on my email [email protected] = ) consider the commercial benefits

This is a real person by the way, not a spam bot. He came on IRC and asked too.

It's fine for you to link to the official download here. I would link to the sourceforge page.

What would be the use in hosting a download link on your own site? Ideally, players should download from the official site even if there are other legitimate means of downloading.

***snipped***

Do NOT do that.

Quote:Webmasters, please don't mirror the files or link to the sourceforge site directly. Link to this page instead so we can inform players about possible important updates. Thanks.

EDIT: With "this page" being http://assault.cubers.net/download.html

The sourceforge page will always link to the latest and most appropriate. http://sourceforge.net/projects/actiongame/

Hey, if the devs want to change their minds ok. I'm just pointing out what their "last know wishes" were.

If you'd like to offer AssaultCube to the masses, we're fine with that, however, you must ensure you are NOT breeching the license, which includes a "non-commercial" part: http://assault.cubers.net/docs/license.h...irepackage

I would recommend, simply writing a review, etc, and link to: http://assault.cubers.net/download.html
