Yea so Ive been really interested in fingerboarding.Basically fingerboarding -decking ugghhh hate that word. Finger boarding and tech decking are both totally opposite. There are wooden fingerboards if you want to get serious. If you suck at finger-boarding or tech decking in general, don't get a wooden one. Not gonna help you get skill. Although, it has more pop and stuff.
I recently ordered a wooden fingerboard. The feel of a tech-deck and a wooden fingerboard is extremely different if you become good like me. It actually take skill. Before you go ahead and start calling it stupid toys and absurd comments like that let me explain. Fingerboardng as been around for at least 10 years. It is a really awesome hobby if you get good at it. Same goes for almost anything especially AC. So i started a while back. In my school it was a fingerboarding mecca.
Everyone used to have a tech deck and fingerskate on the lunch tables. Kids made money selling them and such. Before long the school officials ( or retarted cstodians) apparently witnessed as a teacher slipped on a tech deck and fell. So they banned it forever. Kids also started to get into trouble when the school found the illegal "transactions" that were taking place behind their fat assess. I soon became the champion of my school. When I couldn't fingerboard in school i took a long break from it. People make a lot of money off of fingerboarding in general. Just like in real skateboarding, there are obstacles (ramps and such) griptape, trucks, wheels. When people see a wooden one and think why is it so expensive? think, its one of a kind. Not everybody has the money to buy power drills, veneer, glue, saw, and all the rest to make a wooden board. Many good pro fingerboarders even get sponsored by the people that make the gear they use.
Many celebrities popped up because of fingerboarding. They get millions of views. Two of the most famous ones are Mike Shcnieder and Elias Assmuth. Rumored to be one of the best fingerboarders in the world.
I also made a whole channel devoted to that stuff and im gonna make a unboxing video soon of the new prowood fingerboard that i got.
