Resolution settings aren't saved... [Ubuntu/Linux] *solved*

Every time I start the game, my resolution goes back to the default [1024x768]. My video settings aren't being saved apparently? I have to manually enter 1280x1024 every time I start the game. Any idea how I could fix this?

Maybe try adding:

[SELECT ALL] Code:

screenres 1280 1024

to your autoexec.cfg (config/autoexec.cfg)

Also not sure if it applies to your case, but sometimes some LCD displays have a hard time outputting certain resolutions, especially in AC (at least for me anyways :p) so maybe try some other combinations of resolutions and see if those are saved before you try my above method.
