A rather simple recolor/mod I did of all of the weapons in AssaultCube. I hope you guys enjoy.

Due to the brightskins filter, your skins may not turn out as bright as you want them. Don't worry though, they still look nice.

Brightskin filter? What exactly is that?

I'm pretty sure the Brightskin filter was to stop people from using bright skins on weapons/player models so players could pick out the enemy easily.

Nice skins, I'll probably use them some time in the future. :P

Use Akimbo!

The brightskin filter does affect your own gun. Basically, it makes everything bland, dull and non-bright.

Well that's... Unneccesary... Why would you have to worry about your own gun being too bright?

Not like you'd get an advantage from that. (cue dev flaming me, and me recieving warning points)

Maybe it's not that easy to exclude the filter from the HUD weapons like that. Maybe it is and simply wasn't thought off.

Go and ask the coders and you'll know the best.

It's a filter over all the graphics of the whole game to avoid allowing an unfair advantage of being able to very clearly see other players. Unfortunately, the HUD was collateral damage in enabling this filter. Yes, I would also like to see the HUD freed from the filter, but as Mr.Floppy said, I have no idea how difficult it'd be or else it would probably have already been exempted.

Then the rave party nades will glow!! :D
