just noticed how the smoke line from the sniper comes out your face and not the gun.

it looks like i'm crouching though, so i cant be going that fast. could be the angle of the screen shot.

Shotlines emanate from the camera perspective. :D
You can even see it occur from a 3rd-person view -- bullets come out of the players' eyes!
