AssaultCube Quitting Bug!! HELP!

When I quit Assault Cube, my desktop suddenly get splitted in half (Horizontal) and I ca'nt see my Start bar.. What can I do to prevent this? Ca'nt I just play in Window Mode? Everytime it happens I have to restart the computer :(

Play in windowed mode. (Settings->Video Settings->Fullscreen)

Simply add "-t" as paramter to your link-to the .BAT - it'll make the game start in windowed mode. But Gibstick is right - your card's drivers must be buggy; it may be that you actually don't need the newest drivers though .. we've seen this with ATI drivers sometimes, using the penultimate release has sometimes been more reliable than the latest-not-so-greatest. Naturally this is all guesswork since you didn't provide proper background-information for an informed reply (read: given gfx-card and OS details).
