Is there a way to hide the HUD in AC using a command, just for a short while?
I plan on doing some video editing soon, and it would be nice if it was without the crosshairs, radars, health ammo etc when I record the demos...
Or are their even files I can back up and delete, or is this considered 'mathacking'?
Again, excuse my n00by self. Thanks!
Jason.
EDIT: I am such a noob...Can't believe I missed that menu.
Sorry guys.

...or use the 'Cleanshot' script by Mr Floppy, on
akimbo. It was written for 1.0 (and for screenshots), so will need tweaking for 1.1 (and capture). I'd do it, but I have to go and cut up some chicken for dinner...

One more question jamz:
Is there a way for the gun to appear onscreen in demos?

Has been on the wishlist for years, but AFAIK this feature doesn't exist (yet).

I believe it's on MakkE's wish list, so it can't be far off.

It's on mine too - there are some vector issues here though; it's not as simple as one might think .. in my best attempt so far (long, long ago) the spectating-position was only showing the "bad" side of polys for 50% of the time.

Igniting old thread go!
For my video, just masked out the Assault Rifle, and firing animations. If anyone wants them in easy chroma format to use in vids, PM me.
