How Do I Play Multilayer on Maps I Make???

I would like to be able to either co-op edit or play multilayer with my friends on maps that I have made. I read the README and wiki on co-op edit and it said to type "/coop MAPNAME", then to send the map to the server. The problem is, whenever I try ro type the name of my map, eg "/coop maze3x it says "could not vote: Invalid vote" What do I do?

btw, I couldn't find anything on playing ur map w/ other gamemodes, so let me know about that too pls.

You have to play on a coop enabled server. for example de.mysick.tk 20070
