Assault cube update

i'm pretty sure this is the right section, but if it isn't i hope the mod's will help me move it...

does assault cube automaticly update, or do you have to uninstall and re-download a newer version yourself?

Uninstall -> Download -> Install

You have to download and install the new version.
Dont know how it is now, but when you had 1.0.4 and installed 1.1.xx they installed on different places - at least on Ubuntu Linux.

I guess you can run 2 different versions at ones on Windows to, but thats someone using Windows have to answer.

Yes, the configuration files would be stored in a different place, but you would need to tell the installer to specifically install the new versions normal files in a completely different place to avoid overwriting.

thanks, yeah i use windows. i started only one or two weeks ago, so i've only downloaded 1.1, and didn't get to figure it out before.

You don't have to uninstall but you do have to get the newest version yourself.
