no, they can't. the delay only becomes an issue in a public server in the high 500 range, but usually that is accompanied by high PJ as well, which is the real issue. personally, if we were playing competitively, i wouldn't want to play on a ping higher than 250, but its a pub ffs. stop looking for every opportunity and little excuse to ban people. by the way, buying a VPS doesn't give you a moral free-pass to be an abusive admin; if you do that, i don't see why it is a terrible thing if certain people get VPNs and make life hell for you on your server.

the key word there is 'may', as nobody actually knows precisely what happened, until both of them elaborate a little on the situation. even though he may have had a legitimate reason for kicking, its doubtful. i'm not assuming anything really, i'm just trying to say that hawk's story is more likely to be true than lucas' because lucas has the personality of a rager.
