I would beg to differ a little on some of your points Mael.
Some of you may remember a fellow by the name of BRONKINIUS (or something to that effect) who was using an aimbot a while back. Despite the fact that Brahma analyzed the demo using whatever methods he uses, he found no empirical evidence that the fellow was cheating (although from watching the demo it was blatantly obvious he was hacking).
So sometimes (albeit rarely) it is necessary to manually analyze a demo.
