Nah, please use a real thumbnail, i.e. a smaller version of the image as a preview, linked to the big one. Most image hosting sites offer BBCode which does exactly that, so why don't you use it?

Or add an small s at the end of the url, before the .com (and l would make it a large thumbnail).
