Example? What would be better understood with colors than with black and white? Most colored map messages are just rainbow colored bleh.

I find red to be better understood than black/white, probably because of all the written corrections addressed to me by schoolteachers. It prefaces its markings with "You did this wrong. I taught you better than that."
