You might change the introduction phrase to something sounding less like you're trying to sell fridges to Eskimos and probably it wouldn't be the worst idea to explain why there's nothing for download yet. A direct link to the actual contents right from the front-page would be quite convinient, too.
Besides that, can't you get rid of the advertisement at the download-section/forum? I got a giggedy-giggedy-web-chat-bullshit-add right at the first hit. Really annoying, that is.
