Just download the game from http://assault.cubers.net/download.html
Install it.
When you start the game, press Esc to get up the menu.
Select "Multiplayer" -> "Join a server".
Then you should see plenty servers to connect to.
Edit: Lots of servers dont connect with IP.
Yes you can use IP, but some use a url.
Mine is biohazard.des-clan.net.
To connect to that you press T and type: /connect biohazard.des-clan.net
[Press Enter]
