Well, I live in rural Tennessee, USA, and I use wireless broadband. I get fairly low pings (anywhere from 40 to 80). I have included a speedtest.net test (pun intended) to a server in Chicago (which is couple hundred miles from where I live)

Because of AC's low bandwidth usage, all you really need to worry about is your ping.
