Hmm. I hate to say this but what exactly are you saying? It looks to me like when you told him to change his name he did. Not to mention that the "Jr" at the end of his name makes it fairly clear that he wasn't you. Occasionally I'll joke with someone by changing my name to theirs and putting NOT at the beginning of it.
