Weapons sounds, modding help

Make sure all of your modded sounds are MONO.

im using other peoples modding sounds in which i wouldnt use them if others didnt say they were great and they are but just sounds all over the map, when i replace the old with the new it changes it to microsoft wave sound, i dont know why it changes it but even if i use converted ones saved as ogg's they still do it.
