In my opinion, It is not still too late, AC still rocks with its unique gameplay and supporting community. Perhaps one of the persuading plan would be a decent Free game which compensate its expenses by common methods of online marketing, such as offering in-game purchases(skin, weapon, etc) or any other new ideas of making money. It's probably worth to try.

I am willing to help...I can make SFxs and Background score or Foley elements for the game. They should try to make some mods with better character Skins, New sound and some new and exciting maps, and they can sell those mods.
