It's a series where you just accept things to be as they are - regardless as to whether it defies logic or not. Doctor Who is fantasy, you're supposed to just accept things as they, it's supposed to warp your mind... accept a fresh, weird, different perspective.
I just have trouble following the plot is the main problem. I don't seem to understand how time works in Dr Who anymore. When I used to watch it, from when the first episode was shown with Ecclestone to about 2 seasons in to Tennant's doctor, I understood all of almost every episode. A rare exception being the Madame de Pompadour episode, or at least the end of it. I even used to collect the Battles in Time trading cards.
The point is episodes seem to have gotten a lot more complicated since those days, going off snippets of Matt Smith episodes I've seen and the latest season so far, and I just can't follow anything anymore. Do you agree, is that the case? Or am I just going senile in my young age.
