What I was trying to allude to in my original advice to Mousikos, was this...
If a server owner adds a map to his servermaps that is properly converted, it will be useless if the client has the exact same map name and version, but without the conversion applied. Because it will not force the map to be replaced by the server's version...
Likewise, there is responsibility in the hands of clients that upload their maps to ensure they have been converted properly...
To my point simply - /getmap is the correct solution should the client have an unconverted map, but the server has the converted version....
I know this hasn't been the larger issue with this topic, but in Mousikos case it made sense...
(Server version was from akimbo through wget, while his client likely had an improper version)
