Since cube was built for low-end machines of a time long ago RAM isn't an issue at all, actually. It should run on 512 MB RAM just the same, depending on how much resourced are beeing taken by the OS.

Besides that, what 'camper map' are you even refering to? There are quite a lot of different kinds.
