I used to use comcast.....until they rerouted my connection from 10 minutes away from my house to 5 states away resulting in massive lag when trying to do anything; like play games, watch movies, and just download stuff. Just cuz they say 33 down, certainly doesn't mean you're gonna get all of it. When I was with them I was getting "20mbs down", it was more like 5. Comcast sucks donkey nuts!

ISP's should always say up to XXMbps.
I get many calls for bad speeds, normally its just a case of your area. Never heard of an ISP routing your connection a few states away? Your copper should just go to the exchange and then from their to the back bone and afaik they can't change that.
Obviously even if they say 33Mbps that isn't MBps, but you know that right.
