i am barely able to stabilize my fps at 100 (it usually goes down to about 95 and back up again depending on which map and where i am in the map)
meanwhile, i have been looking at ways to make the engine run faster. one of the ways i think i can do this (ive already tinkered with graphics settings, gibnums, etc.) is minimizing the LOD (level of detail).
my LOD constantly stays at 250. I use /mindlod and put the minimum down to 25 and it still refuses to budge. there is no such thing as /maxlod. is there a way to lower LOD? will lowering LOD help my fps?
