It's not a script, it's a code modification. The source is modified, then recompiled into a new server binary.
You may not know, but the owner of the A&D servers was a long-standing developer of AC, and he contributed the vast majority of the AC server code. I say this to let you know that he knows what he's doing. Messing with the server code is not recommended, unless you, too, know what you're doing.
It is, of course, a useful addition, which I would welcome to 1.1.
