Yes, do a "Full Edit" (click edit button on your post) and edit the topic up at the top.

This actually isn't very true. General isn't a horrible categorization for this. Its either "General" or "Help", probably more like "Help", but w/e. General is kinda the "offtopic" but still related to AC. At least that is how I see it.
No reason for this not to end well for him. Most threads can be work out well if you don't respond to them, or act overly hostile to normal comments.
