Saying that science supports God is just like saying that KKK supports black people... My opinion about it is that people use 'God' as an excuse to everything that can't be explained. The first man who saw a tree hit by a thunder going on fire thought it was God because it was something new and 'unexplainable', while it was just a stupid blaze.
You know, people saying that "his dead grandpa appeared in his dream to reveal him something and this was thanks to God" are just like kids whom are surprised by a magic trick that they couldn't explain in other ways. Who knows that is just something that our brain creates? After all, we use only a small percentage of it, and I guess we could make things that we may now judge "unbelievable".
If you tell me that "YOU" believe in something higher it's ok, you're free to be mad in your own way, but please, don't tell me that there actually is something higher, because unless you can strongly prove it, you are to be chained in an asylum.
